Job Description
The role of the Analyst/Sr. Analyst will be to support project leads in providing financial advisory support in origination, development and due diligence of sustainability linked projects across cities and develop city investment plans to support this effort. The projects span multiple sectors including energy, mobility, built environment, waste and others. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong foundation of finance and investment knowledge and be able to apply these concepts to a sustainability focus.
Responsibilities
The applicant will be supporting the development of investment plans for cities and subsequently contribute to project structuring and execution, including working with city counterparts, BwB colleagues and other relevant stakeholders to channel financing towards projects which contribute towards cities’ Net Zero ambitions.
Work on diverse financial instruments and capital structures
Support necessary due diligence processes, including financial modelling
Support financial project risk analysis and find mitigants
Facilitate the mobilisation of public and private sector financing of transactions through investor engagement
Stakeholder management and engagement
Attend and present at workshops and client/business development meetings
Qualifications:
Ideally, the successful candidate should have the following Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (economics, finance, STEM subjects preferred) with 1 - 3 years of experience in banking or other financial institutions preferred
Experience of / contact with the private sector investor landscape
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Based in Europe
Must be fluent in written and spoken English (C3 level) Additional European language essential
