BwB are pleased to confirm that we will be attending the 2023 Spring Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, starting on 10th of April in Washington DC. The annual event brings together a wide range of stakeholders, partners and national governments from around the world to discuss not only the work of the World Bank and the IMF, but also a broad range of development, climate and finance topics.
“As the global economy navigates an increasingly challenging period it is critical that public and private capital is applied to the world’s most pressing environmental and social issues, which we know are particularly urgent in the Global South. This call to action and the intersection of climate, development and finance, which was clearly articulated by the Bridgetown Initiative, is right at the heart of BwB’s mission and we are delighted to be attending the Spring Meetings to help advance action towards more equitable outcomes.”, commented BwB CEO Rupesh Madlani and Heather Matson, BwB Executive Director, Global Head Gender, Diversity & Inclusive Finance
If you are also attending and would like to meet, please reach out to luke.ireland@bwb.earth.
