INNOVATION GAPS IN THE TEXTILE CHAIN | How can the textile sector of Amsterdam Metropolitan Area become 70% circular by 2030?
The Circular Innovation Collective - CIC - has conducted intensive research to identify the opportunities to accelerate the transition towards a circular value chain in the textile sector.
To accelerate the transition, we have to:
Create affordable and accessible circular services;
Increase textiles performance through next-generation plant-based and bio fabricated materials;
Inform and empower citizens about their clothing’s impacts;
Invest in regenerative practices and diversity of craft.
Curious on how to make this happen? Read the full research here --> https://bit.ly/cicollective
CIC is a collaboration between Metabolic, Impact Hub Amsterdam and BwB. The mission of CIC is to transition to a circular economy together with our partners The DOEN Foundation, Goldschmeding Foundation, and Amsterdam Impact.
